Day 2 - Monday
Reception at the airport and transportation to our hotel. For the duration of our stay, we stay at the classic Four Season Hotel, a truly historic luxury hotel in Buenos Aires, located in the beautiful Recoleta neighborhood. The best sight-seeing, entertainment, shopping, and dinning is in this beautiful neighborhood. Buenos Aires' most important sinagogue is also within walking distance of our hotel.

After we have some time to relax at our hotel, we take a walking tour of Recoleta.

In the evening we have a video orientation, "The Jews in Argentina", an overview of Jewish life in Buenos Aires and Argentina.

Day 3 - Tuesday
Today we go on a tour of the most important sights and neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Knowledgeable guides show us the best that Buenos Aires has to offer. We visit: Plaza de Mayo; Casa Rosada; Catedral Metropolitana; Cabildo; and the charismatic neighborhood of La Boca.

After the tour, explore the center of Buenos Aires at your leisure. Visit the excellent shops along Florida street and relax in the lovely San Martin Park and then go to the youthful and trendy neighborhood of Palermo Viejo.
At night, we go to one of the best and most historic Kosher restaurant in the city followed by the beautiful tango show at Senor Tango. The show is not simply a dance, but a full-fledged theatrical performance.

Day 4 - Wednesday
Take a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. A short boat ride from Buenos Aires takes us across the river to Colonia. This is a must-see excursion exploring a South American town built in the old Portuguese style. Our tour of Colonia includes an extended overview of the history of the Jewish people in Uruguay. There is also a quiet beach where we comfortably enjoy the gorgeous weather (while the rest of the world is freezing in the winter cold).

Day 5 - Thursday
Today is devoted to the main Jewish sites in Buenos Aires. We start the tour with a visit of the Buenos Aires port and immigrant hotel, sites at which many Jews started their lives in Argentina. Then, visit the site of the Israeli Embassy and Embassy Memorial. Also see the synagogue from the Jewish Congregation of Argentine Republic and go to the Jewish neighborhood of Once. At the old jewish neighborhood we will explore the new AMIA building (Mutual Association Israelite Argentina), the synagogues, jewish schools, jewish sport clubs, along with Kosher restaurants and supermarkets.

Day 6 - Friday
We visit the lively neighborhood of Palermo and then go the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, The Fine Arts Museum, to view the unique collection of Argentine art.
