Argentina Skiing Introduction:
Patagonia is a beautiful area in the South of Argentina. World class skiing resorts are located on the Western side of Patagonia, flanked by the amazing Andes Mountains. Ski resorts are easily reached by only a few hours flight from Buenos Aires.
The two best ski resorts in Argentina are Mount Catedral in Bariloche and Las Lenas in Mendoza. Las Lenas is the most beautiful resort in Argentina while Catedral offers over 5,000 acres of ski-able terrain in South America's biggest ski resort.
Your Skiing Options:
Once arrive to the mountains, you can choose to spend your time on the bunny slopes with or without your own private english speaking instructor, to heli-ski unmarked areas, or anything else in between. Terrains for skiers of all ability levels are available in Argentina. Although over half of the trails are geared toward intermediates, advanced skiers can find many challenges including a choice of cruisers, moguls or off-piste trails. Patagonia offers this beautiful skiing in the months of June through September.
