Guests who wish to depart Iguazu and catch an international flight on the same day, should note that the transfer time between the domestic airport, Aeroparque, and the international airport, Ezeiza, can take up to 80 minutes. Your arriving a minimum of 2.5 hours prior to international flight departure time is recommended. In addition to checking in, travelers are required to pay an airport tax of approximately us$18. The airport tax is a separate cue from the check-in procedure. There is also a customs process on the outbound, which, added to the security line, totals 4 lines prior to arrival at the gate.
Hotels:
On the Argentinian side of Iguazu, you have several lodging options that you can choose from. Stay at the Sheraton Iguazu Hotel that faces the waterfall, the very luxurious Iguazu Gran Hotel and Casino, the very pleasant Hotel Cataratas, or the less expensive Esturion. On the Brazilian side of Iguazu, the two best hotels are: The Tropical Das Cataratas which is overlooking the Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side and the spacious Bourbon Golf Hotel.
Excursions:
The Argentina side of the waterfalls excursion is by far the most important part of a visit to Iguazu Falls. The excursion takes anywhere from 4 hours to a full day. The "Great Adventure" is an add-on excursion you can take with your Argentina side excursion. The Brazilian excursion is a significantly shorter two to three hour excursion.
