Experience the most beautiful lakes and mountains as you travel by bus and boat from Bariloche to Puerto Montt, Chile. The excursion can be a great way to cross into Chile from Argentina, or just a nice way to explore many beautiful sights.

This excursion starts at Puerto Panuelo, a port right next to the Llao Llao Hotel, a few kilometers from the city of San Carlos del Bariloche and about thirty five minutes from Bariloche Airport.

Two Day / One Night Lake Crossing Itinerary:

Day 1
10:30: Upon arrival at Puerto Panuelo near Bariloche, we board El Condor Catamaran and sail the Blest Branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

11:30: Enjoy lunch in the cozy restaurant in Puerto Blest with a magnificent view of the lake. After lunch you start a bus trip that borders the Frķas river during a few miles to arrive in Puerto Alegre. Then you board the Caleuche or the Dalca motorship and sail Lake Frķas for 15 minutes. From here you shall have the first view of Mount Tronador.

15:30: Upon arrival at Puerto Frķas you clear Argentine customs and proceed on a bus through lush Andean vegetation to the Vicente Perez Rosales pass for 14 miles to the Chilean customs house at Peulla. After customs, it is only a short ride to the Peulla Hotel where you dine and stay overnight.

Day 2
08:30: After breakfast you board the Lagos Andinos Catamaran and set sail across the waters of the Lake Todos Los Santos. On the trip we will be able to view Mount Puntiagudo and the impressive Osorno Volcano. You will then arrive to Petrohue. On the final leg to Puerto Montt from Puerto Varas you will do stop by to visit the magnificent Petrohue waterfalls.

Arriving in Puerto Montt at 20:00.
